Summerfolk and the Folk Society pride themselves on bringing the community together through music and art.   We are proud to present the 2017 'MUSKOKA PROJECT'... Each one a unique peice of art!!

The Folk Society invited artists to offer their design prowess to paint/decorate an unforgettable muskoka chair.  The design was to incorporate 'Summerfolk' and the 150th celebration of Canada's birthday.  Creative expression was greatly encouraged.                                                  

Materials for the Muskoka chairs were donated by Smith & Hbadil Home Hardware; the chairs themselves were constructed by the 2015/16 OSCVI woodworking class. The chairs will be placed throughout Owen Sound for viewing.  

The final bids will be taken on Saturday, August 19th, 2017 at 8:00pm.  Winners will be announced on the main stage at the 42nd annual Summerfolk Music & Crafts Festival as well as posted on the Summerfolk Festival official website and facebook page.
