White River Animal Rescue is inviting you to its Second annual silent auction event: Barking for Bids. Join us for hors d'eouvres, brunch, wine tasting and a live performance by award winning singer and song writer Nicole Knox Murphy! Guests have a wine tasting for 3 different wines and the option to purchase additional tastings. With all of this excitement going on don't forget about the silent auction! (Note: some of these items may be included in packages or used as a raffle item at the auction). The event will be on Sunday, October 21, 2018 at LaBelle Winerey in Amherst, NH from 11:00AM-2:00PM.

White River Animal Rescue (WRAR) is a 501(c)(3) charity, with the mission to help save dogs from neglect, abuse and kill shelters. Simply put, we rescue dogs and puppies from life threatening situations. Our mission began in 2009, and ever since then we have rescued, rehabilitated, and adopted out over 4,000 neglected and/or abandoned dogs. This is a very costly endeavor as we pay for all of the medical treatment and transportation costs for the dogs in our care.

Can I buy my ticket at the event?

No, ticket sales will close October 7th , only a limited number of tickets will be sold! 

Is there an age requirement?

Yes, because wine tasting is included with the ticket purchase you must be 21 or older to purchase tickets! 

How much is a ticket to Barking for Bids and what is included in the price?

Tickets are $50 each. Your ticket includes admission into the silent auction, hors d'eouvres, brunch, a tasting of three different wines, and a performance by Nicole Knox Murphy.

What is the dress code?

This is a semi-formal event. Similar to a bridal shower or business casual gathering. 

What forms of payment are accepted for auction items?

We will accept cash, check, and credit card. 

Are tickets refundable?

No, sorry we are not able to refund tickets after they are purchased.

Are tickets transferable?

Yes, if you purchase a ticket and then would like to put that ticket in someone else’s name, please use the contact form below to inform us of this request.

Will there be a bar at the event?

Yes, the bar will accept cash or credit cards. 

What is the schedule for the evening?

A schedule of the event will be posted as we get closer to the event.

Can I request who I sit with?

Yes, although we can’t guarantee we can accommodate your request, we will make every effort. To do so please use the contact form below and indicate who you would like to sit with. Please make sure both parties have purchased tickets before making the request.
