On November 25, 2017, the Honolulu Habitat for Humanity ReStore celebrates five years of service in the Oahu community. Since opening in 2012, ReStore staff, donors, customers and volunteers have helped fund the construction of 10 Honolulu Habitat homes. We are celebrating with an open house and fundraising auction. Donate, Shop, Volunteer
This past summer, the Honolulu ReStore received several generous, high-end donations of art, cultural artifacts, and home accessories. We decided an online auction would be the best way to promote the 23 items, and to raise additional funds for the Habitat community.
The fundraising goal for the Nov. 25, 2017 Honolulu ReStore Sustainable Saturday Open House is $50,000.
Donated cultural artifacts in this online auction include a miniature Samurai helmet and miniature Chinese wooden musical instruments.
Household accessories include Farberware Retroneu Caliais China, ELK light fixtures, and an Adirondack Chair that ReStore volunteers constructed out of scrap wood.
The auction also features fantastic works of art. There are seven *giclee by Hawaii-based artist, Steven Power, as well as one lithograph and one giclee by Hawaii-based artist, Wyland.
*giclee - Images are generated from high resolution digital scans and printed with archival quality inks onto various substrates including canvas, fine art, and photo-base paper. The giclee printing process provides better color accuracy than other means of reproduction.
Sign up and bid in this online auction. It's a fun and easy way to support the Honolulu Habitat mission of building homes, community and hope on Oahu.

ABOUT THE HONOLULU HABITAT RESTORE
The Honolulu ReStore is a nonprofit home improvement store and donation center that sells new and gently used furniture, appliances, building materials and home accessories to the public at a fraction of the retail price. Proceeds from the sales are used to build homes, community and hope on Oahu.
Honolulu ReStore's secondary focus on environmental sustainability is an added benefit to the public. By accepting donations, the ReStore diverts an estimated 125 tons of reusable materials from landfills every year.
