Baseball isn’t Pittsburgh Pirates General Manager Clint Hurdle’s only passion: he is a huge music buff! Having converted his sizable music library to digital form, he decided to donate his entire personal CD collection to two causes near and dear to his heart: 91.3 WYEP and the Prader Willi Syndrome Association. Proceeds from this auction will be equally split between these two nonprofit organizations.

About the collection:
This CD collection represents the varied and diverse tastes of one of Major League Baseball’s most respected players and managers - Clint Hurdle. The collection reflects his time living and playing in various parts of the country. From Kansas City to New York to St. Louis to Colorado to Texas and all the way to Pittsburgh, Clint developed a deep appreciation for blues and roots music, country music, rock and roll, folk music and a lot of local and regional artists he was introduced to along the way. There are more than 2,300 albums from hundreds of artists spanning a wide range of genres. There is something wonderful for everyone. It truly is a music collector's dream!
