Welcome to The Michael Bonanomi Foundation's First Annual Brighter Sun Benefit Online Auction site. Please take a minute to browse all of the items that are available. The online auction begins on Friday, October 16th at 6:00 am and ends on Monday, October 26th at 11:00 pm.  

What you see here represents the hard work of many wonderful friends and family. With all of these amazing donations, you are bound to find something that interests you or someone you love.  In doing so, you are helping to support our 2015 Goals.

This year, The Foundation will support programs that meet our mission statement of bettering society through music and encouraging awareness of street safety. To that end, we will direct our efforts toward: a scholarship awarded to one student enrolled in the music program at Michael’s alma mater, University of California, Santa Cruz. Also, we have partnered with Heart of Los Angeles (HOLA) by providing financial assistance to expand their jazz music program. HOLA provides thousands of underserved and at-risk youth with exceptional programs in academics, arts and athletics, empowering them to develop their potential, pursue their education and strengthen their communities. We are excited and honored to be working together to make this new jazz music program a great success.  Additionally, as an organization, The Michael Bonanomi Foundation recognizes the hit and run epidemic in California and champions all efforts toward making California’s streets safer for pedestrians, cyclists and all people.

We encourage you all to attend our First Annual Brighter Sun Benefit Concert on October 21, 2015 at The Mint in Los Angeles! Fruition, described as a string band meets The Band, will headline the concert, along with Simon Petty and the Thieves, a long-time collaborator with Michael. The event will begin with a VIP reception, including a special acoustic set by Fruition, music by members of HOLA's youth jazz ensemble, passed hors d'oeuvres and buffet, and followed by general admission and performances by Fruition and Simon Petty and the Thieves.
