Burnaby Association For Community Inclusion

60k For 60 Years!

In BACI’s 60th Anniversary year, our goal is to raise $60,000 ($1,000 per year!) for BACI’s Children’s Programs — including our Infant Development Program.

As always, we’re not only looking back and celebrating the accomplishments of the past 60 years, but looking forward to see how we can support optimum growth & opportunities for future generations.

How can you make a difference? In a small way or in a big way, help us raise $60,000 to create places where children of all abilities can flourish and grow. Where infants with special needs can access the supports they need to develop to their full potential.

The Burnaby Association for Community Inclusion (BACI) was created in 1956, when parents of children with disabilities in Burnaby gathered to advocate for the rights of their sons and daughters. We have grown into a non-profit organization that provides innovative services to over 1,000 children, youth and adults with developmental disabilities and their families in Metro Vancouver. We support the inclusion of people of all ages and abilities through our Infant Development Program; inclusive child care centres; diverse housing options; employment, recreational and learning opportunities; social connection and community engagement, and; family support and advocacy. BACI continues to seek opportunities to increase social awareness and effect change in the way people with disabilities are viewed in our society
