Description

This Surly Cross-Check was hand-built with care and the utmost attention to detail by the cycling experts at Neutral Cycle. From the custom wheels to the English leather handlebars and seat, nothing was missed. You’ll be the hit of the rail trail as you cruise along in style and comfort.

DT Swiss spokes adorn high flange Velo Orange Grand Cru hubs and DT Swiss rims. The bike sports a Velo Orange stem and Velo Orange Zeste cantilever brakeset. On to the SRAM crank, you'll see that we have simplified the gears for this bike by going with a 1x10 setup. The Gevenalle shifter up front works beautifully with the SLX Shimano rear derailleur after the wolf tooth converter changes ratios.

A touch of leather goes a long way. The bike comes complete with Brooks handlebar tape and leather saddle. Under the saddle is an Easton carbon seat post to smooth out bumps in the ride. Not only is it functional, it's practical for those long touring rides. Everything sits on a plush 700x35 cyclo Continental tire for maximum comfort and grip.

Keep your pants dry and your back “rooster tail free” with the Portland Design Works full metal fenders.

Frame size is currently 56cm, but the bike may be sized to fit the winner.

Blaze rail trails with confidence with this “do anything” bike. You won't regret it!
