A one-woman whirlwind and culinary ambassador, she is a tireless advocate for the depth and breadth of Mexican cuisine, the first to be recognized by UNESCO as part of the Intangible Heritage of Mankind. Her restaurant on St. Mark’s Place is a not-to-be missed destination for aficionados and uninitiated alike.
