Starting Friday Nov 22 at 5 PM ending Sunday Dec 1, at 5 PM, 2019, The South Okanagan Similkameen Volunteer Centre (SOSVC) is hosting an online auction to raise funds to support volunteers and encourage more people to volunteer.   Bid on items donated by local businesses.

Its easy to bid, register as a bidder and then login at the top right corner of this page first which allows you entrance to the auction.

AUCTION POLICIES:

Bidding ends on Sunday Dec 1 at 5 PM.  The Highest Bidder on each item will be notified. Ways to Pay for your item(s). 

1. Credit Card at PayPal.Me/SOSVolunteerCentre

2. Cash or Cheque when you pick up your item(s)

PLEASE PICK UP YOUR ITEMS AT SOS Volunteer Centre Office, 102-696 Main Street-Monday, Dec. 2, Tuesday, Dec. 3 and Wednesday, Dec. 4 mornings between 9:30 am and 12:30 noon. 

All Items must be paid for and picked up before Wednesday Dec. 4 at 12:30.

As the highest bidder, if you are unable to pick up your item during these times please contact the Volunteer Centre at E: info@volunteercentre.info or call 1-888-576-5661 to make alternative arrangements.  Failure to contact the Volunteer Centre or to pick up and pay for your item by Wedneday Dec. 4 will result in the item being sold to the next highest bidder.

The SOSVC is a Registered Provincial Society and Registered Federal Charity that:

  • Provides easy access to opportunities that allows people to connect to their community through volunteering. 
  • Works with other community groups to improve their ability to recruit, manage, retain and appreciate volunteers.
  • Helps the public find volunteer opportunities that fit their interests and needs.  Youth, for example, often seek to develop skills and employability, and improve their job prospects.
  • Encourages the public to volunteer, and raises awareness about volunteering.
  • Collaborates with governments, community leaders and organizations to speak on behalf of volunteers and volunteering.
