Welcome to the Humane Society of Louisiana's Barkitecture fundraiser!

Funds raised will support our TransPUPtation program. We save pups who would otherwise be destroyed in Louisiana shelters and transport them to loving families on the East Coast. Because of increased awareness of spaying and neutering up north, here is a demand for our southern pups. We've saved more than 7000 pets through TransPUPtation since Katrina destroyed our animal shelter in New Orleans.

2. VOTE for our 'People's Choice' award!  Each $1 gift counts as a vote.  $1 = 1 vote.  The house with the highest amount of donations wins the People's Choice. Donate/vote for your favorite by contributing here: www.youcaring.com/humanela  Just indicate in the 'message' section how you'd like your votes to be applied.  You can give all your votes to one favorite or divide them up between candidates.

Come see us on 'Barkitecture Day' at Lakeside mall on Sat 26th, 11am - 2pm. We'll have viewing, voting, judging, and pet adoptions before the winners are announced and auctions end. In addition to 'People's Choice' awards will be given for 'Most Creative' and 'Best in Show'. Winners will be announced at 1:30pm.

Winners should be prepared to take custody of the house(s) purchased on event day, when it will need to be removed from Lakeside Mall. (We will endeavor to have volunteers with trucks available who will be able to assist in relocating the houses to your residence for a small fee.)
