Welcome to the Unitarian Church of Hinsdale’s Harvest Home. This is our first year splitting our annual fundraiser into two events. The first will be a celebration of our church home and church community.
Harvest Home will feature delcious pizza and appetizers prepared by Chef Tim Dvorak; a Fair Trade Booth hosted by Debbi Wayman-Dodd; an open bar; and an online, silent, and live auction. It’s an all hands-on deck affair and the social event of our church year.
Who are we? The Unitarian Church of Hinsdale is centrally located in downtown Hinsdale, IL since 1887. We are comprised of an incredibly diverse group of 230 people representing Hinsdale and 35 neighboring communities. We are a community comprised of passionate leaders, working professionals, social activists, environmental stewards, educators, and patrons of the arts.
We have three goals for Harvest Home. (1) Build and strengthen our community so that the Harvest Home is the driving force for setting our annual social calendars. (2) Raise at least $10,000 (3) All members/friends make at least one personal donation (e.g., service, activity, or event).
To realize our goals—we need everyone’s help! Bottom-line, we only need two things to make our Harvest Home a success: (1) people to attend (mark November 17th on your calendar); and, (2) items to buy. We’re in this together!
Please check back often for the lastest new personal and business donations, as well as our sponsors and advertisers.
