Wine Tasting | Prime Rib Dinner | Charity Auction

Oyster Ridge Barn at Ancient Peaks Winery at Santa Margarita Ranch is the place to be on May 6th as CowParade SLO is heads out to pasture. See the final herd one last time and show your support for our great causes. The auction event begins with early VIP entry at 2 p.m. followed by regular entry at 3, and a live auction at 4. Cows will be auctioned live, while the remaining happy heifers will be listed online and at a silent auction on the veranda. The event continues until 7:30 p.m. 

Radio personality Adam Montiel, host of the Cork Dorks and Liquid Lunch on The Krush 92.5 FM and Up and Adam in the Morning on Q104.5 FM, will emcee the event, while Todd Ventura will serve as the auctioneer.

FOOD

Appetizers, include Artisan Cheese’s from Stepladder Creamery, Hearty Bites from Cattaneo Bros, and Hand Passed Appetizers from the Ribline including Wood Fired Shrimp with Fresh Fruit Salsa, Caprese Skewers with Balsamic Reduction and Pulled Port Toasts. In addition, early entrance VIP Ticket Holders will enjoy Ribline’s award winning Black Truffle BBQ Oysters with Canadian Bacon and Wild Mushroom Toast.

Dinner, includes Prime Rib Roast Barbecue, Crème Fraiche Mashed Potatoes, Farmers Market Seasonal Mixed Vegetables, Local Mixed Greens with Candied Walnuts, Craisins and Feta Salad, Assorted Dessert Table will be catered by the Ribline. Harmony Valley Creamery will be serving mini cones of its udderly awesome ice creams.

Grab your commemorative logo wine glass and taste your way through local sponsoring wineries Ancient Peaks, Halter Ranch Vineyard, Castoro Cellars, J Dusi Wines, Ranchita Canyon Vineyard, San Marcos Creak Vineyard and True Myth Wines, or sip on suds from Central Coast Distributing including Modello, Corona and Ballast Point.

The live and silent auctions are your opportunity to bid on amazing life size cow sculpture canvases created by local and regional artists. Help raise money for our three Title Charities – The Land Conservancy of San Luis Obispo County, ARTS Obispo and the CMSF Heritage Foundation along with our 37 other benefitting local non-profits. Be the wining bidder and placing your winning bovine art in your business or donate her to your favorite town, school, charity, park or institution so the public and continue to view and admire her for years to come. Or simply keep her as a private collector.

VIP Rancher’s table, $1500 – Includes 10 VIP tickets and seating at a beautiful oak table at the front, near the auction stage, early admission one hour before the main event to preview the bovines and taste wine, exclusive award winning Black Truffle BBQ Oyster appetizer, first to the Prime Rib dinner buffet, VIP parking and everything including in the regular admission.
