Welcome to cornerstone STUDIOS' Online & In-Person Auction:

An online and in-person auction of original artwork, prints, and autographed books to benefit benefit The Northern Manhattan Coalition for Immigrant Rights (75%) and cornerstone STUDIOS (25%).

Bidding is now open! Bid now or bid in person on Saturday, June 10, 2017, from 1-6 pm.

Works included in the auction will be on display online from now through the end of the silent auction. The auction will take place beginning on Thursday, June 8, and simultaneously with cornerstone STUDIOS' summer Open Studios event, part of the 2017 NoMAA Uptown Arts Stroll. Please join us to see work by 9 artists living and working in Upper Manhattan!

The Northern Manhattan Coalition for Immigrant Rights (NMCIR), is a non-profit organization, founded in 1982 to educate, defend and protect the rights of immigrants. Recognized by the Board of Immigration Appeals, NMCIR is committed to expanding access to legal immigration services, participating in policy making and community organizing.

Most of the individuals who walk through the doors of NMCIR are low-income, non-citizen immigrants from the Caribbean, Latin America, and Africa and the Middle East. Some have lived in the U.S. for decades, others are recent immigrants. The Coalition is often their first entrée into accessing legal aid or basic social services. The Coalition Educates, Organizes and Defends the immigrant community with Family Reunification, Citizenship, Family Based Petitions, Deportation, and Civic/ESL.

Most work will be available to take home starting at 6pm on June 10, 2017. Pickup at a later date can be arranged. 

Since 2015, cornerstone STUDIOS' mission has been to create affordable studio space for emerging and career visual artists, especially those living and working in Washington Heights and Inwood, NYC.
