A Charity Auction Event

On Friday, August 17, 2018, Nevada Center for Biomedical Research (NVCBR) will host Cheers, its annual fundraising event to benefit treatment discovery for myalgic encephalomyelitis (ME) (also called ME/CFS). The event will take place from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at The Grove at South Creek. The event will feature select wine and champagne and delicious food. Guests will have plenty of opportunities to take home unique items and experiences by participating in the silent auction and fun games.

The proceeds from Cheers are crucial to making advances in ME, a debilitating disease without medical solutions. Multiple sclerosis (MS) and ME have a similar serious impact on patients, but they are miles apart when it comes to medical options. While there are 25 FDA-approved drug treatment choices for those with MS, there are none approved for ME patients. Providing support for the discovery of medical answers and sharing that information with the world are our most critical challenges.

Thanks to incredibly generous donations from individuals and businesses, we have a fantastic collection of items for our silent auction, and this year, you can start your bidding early online! So, please bid on and enjoy these wonderful items while supporting NVCBR’s scientific discovery to help improve the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of diseases that place a significant burden on the global community.

Auction Details:

The silent auction will be held at the Cheers event; however, if you wish to bid online, this will be possible until the silent auction closes on August 17^th at 8:00 p.m. You do not need to be present at Cheers to win if you are the highest bidder online and no one outbids you at the event. Bidding Owl will keep track of all bids online and at the silent auction until auction closing so you can continue to bid online as others bid at the Cheers event.
To bid on an item, click on a category in the left sidebar. After going to the category page, all the items for that category will be displayed. Click on the magnifying glass icon to see a description of the item and to bid on it.
There is a “buy it now” option for each item so you can buy the item immediately and not take a chance that you will be outbid. First come, wins!
If you have ever bid on Bidding Owl before and you remember your sign-in name and password, you can re-use it, if not, create a new account.
If you require shipping, you will be billed for shipping costs once we know the final cost.
All sales are final. We can’t offer refunds or exchanges. Specific rules such as expiration dates and other restrictions might apply.
