The Dormie Network has donated a National Membership to Kansas Golf Foundation, which the Foundation will sell in an online auction June 1-16. All proceeds will benefit the Kansas Junior Golf Scholarship, the Foundation’s program that helps deserving junior golfers go to college in Kansas.
The Dormie Network National Membership provides access to six Dormie Network courses around the country:
The winner of the auction receives a 12-month National Membership which includes unlimited play on courses designed by world-class golf course architects, premium amenities, services of the Dormie Network concierge, access to on-site lodging, and premier hospitality. After the first year, if the winning bidder elects to renew the National Membership, the normal $7,500 initiation fee will be waived.
“This is an incredible opportunity for a golfer who enjoys traveling to play some of the best courses in the country,” said Phil Miller, KGF Executive Director. “It’s really six memberships for the price of one,” said Miller, “because the member has full privileges at every course. And the quality of the courses is superb – including Top 100 courses and designs by Fazio and Coore/Crenshaw – and I expect the Network will be adding courses in the future, which will make the membership even more valuable.”
About the Kansas Junior Golf Scholarship and Kansas Golf Foundation
Kansas Golf Foundation was formed in 1991 to “Promote the Future and Preserve the History of Golf in Kansas.” Since 2005, the Foundation has awarded the Kansas Junior Golf Scholarship to junior golfers who have attended 23 different Kansas colleges. Each year, the Foundation gives $30,000 to 20 Scholars to help with their college expenses, and proceeds from this auction will be used to support the Scholarship program.
