Be The Match Jersey Auction

Help Find a Cure- Stem Cell Transplants

The 2021 baseball season is quickly moving and you don't want to miss any of the action. This jersey auction gives you the opportunity to purchase a game-worn specialty jersey from the Worcester Bravehearts, members of the Futures League. The Bravehearts are wearing the jersey to support Be the Match.

Be The Match is a global leader in Stem Cell Transplants. Operated by the National Marrow Donor Program, the foundation has helped thousands of people every year diagnosed with life-threatening blood cancers such as leukemia and lymphoma.

“Be The Match” is a cause that has held a special place in the heart of the Bravehearts. Bryce Creedon-Linton, son of Bravehearts owner Julie Creedon-Linton has Hyper IgM, which is an immunodeficiency disorder which means he can not find viruses or bacterial infections. Bryce needs a matched donor to donate blood stem cells to cure him of his diagnosis.

*The "Bravehearts" name was chosen in 2013 from a pool of over 1,000 suggestions submitted by the people of the Worcester community.  The “Brave” element of our name is in honor of Worcester’s brave men and women in uniform serving locally and abroad, as well as a tribute to Worcester’s fallen firefighters. The “Hearts” element refers to Worcester’s nickname—“Heart of the Commonwealth.”
