To celebrate Iowa Archaeology Month and generate funds for the Doug W. Jones Research Fund, members of the Iowa Archeological Society have curated a selection of auction items, available to bid on from September 15-October 20, 2018. This auction was inspired by the donation of several of Doug's personal archaeology and natural history items from his sister, Ellen Jones. Thank you, Ellen!  All of the items in this auction are related to archaeology, anthropology, natural history, or the state of Iowa. We do not support the buying/selling/trading of authenthic archaeological artifacts. The items sold here are contemporary, artistic replicas of archaeological artifacts. 

The Doug W. Jones Research Fund provides a one-time stipend for students (undergraduate and graduate students) researching Iowa topics of archaeology and history.
