One of the fastest growing segments of the homeless population is families with children. In Rochester, NY, there are 600 estimated families living on the streets, in cars, or doubled up with family and friends.

Coldwater House provides support to women and children who need help breaking free from the cycle of crisis. The program provides supportive transitional housing for women and children within 5 living units on Coldwater Street. The program is designed to provide a family environment while promoting education, faith, responsibility, and independence by focusing on job skill training, life and parenting skills, GED support, and other programs to enable success.
