The Alpharetta Band has been accepted to perform in World Strides’ Festival of Gold Invitational at Carnegie Hall in New York City! The Festival at Carnegie Hall rewards only the most elite music groups with the opportunity to perform at the world-famous Carnegie Hall. This is a once-in-a-lifetime chance for our students to experience performing in one of the most prestigious venues in the world for classic and popular music.  The Color Guard will have the honor of receiving dance lessons at the famous Alvin Ailey dance studio. 

Although the knowledge the students will gain from this experience is invaluable, there is a cost. This silent auction has been established to help raise money to help defray the expenses for our students. All proceeds from the silent auction will go directly to ABBA – Alpharetta Band Booster Association to help offset costs for the trip. To support our music program, please consider bidding and purchasing on one or more items in our auction.  Also, please share this auction with your friends and family to help get the word out about our efforts.

The dates of the trip are April 8-11, 2020 (This is during Spring Break). This auction will run from November 1, 2019 to March 1, 2020 or until all of our items have been sold. If you would like to donate an item to our auction, please contact Angie Carruthers or Belinda Kasmiersky.
