Inspired by the volunteers who have fought and continue to fight bushfires across South Australia this summer, the Adelaide Giants will use this weekend’s baseball series against the Perth Heat to raise money for the CFS Foundation.

The CFS Foundation provides financial assistance to CFS volunteer firefighters and their families who have suffered through injury, death, and the loss or damage of property while in the line of service.

The Adelaide Giants players have been the driving force behind the online auction by donating their time and some of their personal items to help support the cause.

The auction includes things like authentic player memorabilia and money can’t buy experiences, including one-on-one training sessions with former MLB players Josh Spence and Jeremy Hazelbaker, and Giants second baseman Eric Peterson.
