BigWaterPikes

Quality Wooden Fishing Plugs that Catch Big!

Welcome to the auction home of BigWaterPikes/GRS!

All BigWaterPikes are hand-crafted by Gary R. Soldati, Plug Maker. The fishing plugs in our auctions include almost all GRS styles -- Giants, SLIMs, Minis, Weasels, Trollers and Jointed Eels as well as ALL NEW COLORS, Jeweled Pikes and our annual Flag Plug. These are direct-from-the-Maker plugs you can be proud to have in your fishing arsenal or collection. And, remember, 10% of all winning bids are donated to Disabled American Veterans (DAV).

PLEASE READ THESE IMPORTANT AUCTION DETAILS:

Anyone may view our auctions without registering to bid or logging in.

Prior to 1 hour (or earlier) before the start of any auction, anyone wishing to bid must pre-register by emailing their Paypal name and Paypal address to Patricia. If we do not receive your pre-registration information, you will be prevented from bidding.

First-time Bidders must register to bid on this auction site. On laptops or desktops, the "Register" button is at the top of this page; on mobile devices, the register link is imbedded in the brown menu icon at the top right of your screen. During your registration process, you may choose to use a screen name which will show up when you place your bids. You may access bidding from your computer, laptop or mobile phone.

Return Bidders do not have to register again. Just log in to your account.

Winning Bidders are limited to two plugs per person per auction.

To View Auction Items:  Click the down arrow next to the  "View Items" tab at the top of this  page; then click on "All Items" or the specific type of lure you are interested in; or scroll if you are on a mobile device. This takes you to a summary page of the items up for auction. Click on any auction item for more information or to bid.

Bidding: You must be present to bid. There is no "Absentee" bidding prior to the start of the auction.

Auction Start/Stop Times:  Auctions open at a pre-specified time and close at a pre-specified time; bidding is open for a specific duration -- 24 hours, 4 hours, 3 hours or possibly something less. A countdown clock on the bidding page will help you keep track of time remaining before an auction closes.

Maximum Bids: When the auction opens and after the first bid is placed, bidders may place a "maximum" bid, which is the highest amount you will pay for the item. Our bidding system will continue to place bids for you (i.e., be a proxy for you) until your maximum bid amount is reached. Once your maximum is reached, you may stop bidding; increase your maximum bid; or bid manually using at least the increment stated on the auction page. If bidding stops before your maximum bid is reached, you will be awarded the item for the last amount bid, not your maximum amount.

Incremental Bids: Alternatively, bidders may bid at the increment stated on the item's bidding page or a higher amount, if desired. That is, if the stated increment is $10, you may bid $10, $12.50 or $25, etc., as you wish. Bids less than the designated increment are not accepted.

Text Notices: You will receive a text notice when you have been outbid on an item.

Additional Costs:  Shipping & handling for a single plug is $10, and a 10% Federal Excise Tax (FET) will be applied to all winning bids. FET is assessed by the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Agency and supports sport education, research, boating/water access and more.

Paying for Your Win: Auction winners will receive an invoice from Bidding Owl via email directly after the auction ends. If you don't see it in your inbox, check your spam or junk files. Payments must be made within 2 days of the auction close or your item(s) may be forfeited and returned to our inventory.

Paypal is our only accepted form of payment. When the auction closes, winners will receive an email inviting them to check out by clicking on the word "HERE" in the email. You will be taken to your bidding account to click on the shopping carts next to the items you won. Then, Paypal will guide you through the checkout process. If you have won multiple items, you will only have to check out of Paypal one time.

Blacklisting: We have the technical capacity and reserve the right to blacklist bidders/delete bids for those: 1) who pay late a second time.  2) who use sniping programs to insure a final bid.  3) who are found participating on a waffle site for any BigWaterPikes/GRS plugs (Admins, Sellers or Buyers). 4) who exhibit suspicous bidding behavior or provide inaccurate contact information in the bidding registration process (i.e., name, address, email, phone number).

If you have questions, you can use the form below to contact Patricia.

Good luck!

Gary
