Welcome to Pet Angel Adoption & Rescue Online Auction! 

Our Auction has been our biggest fundraiser each and every year that we have held it. As a non-profit rescue, we rely on the money we raise during our auction to take care of the cats and kittens in our care throughout the summer when donations are the lowest. This means we have worked diligently to collect an array of different items to offer you in our auction this year! Not only does everyone have a chance to find something they love and become a winner, but it's a win-win situation because the cats and kittens in our care at Pet Angel will benefit from your purchase! 

Jim and Nancy Engel discovered kittens in the backyard of their Frankenmuth home in 2004 after a colony of cats moved into the cluster of pine trees a few houses down. The Engel family TNRed (Trap, Neuter, Released) the colony of cats, and found the kittens loving homes. Other people in the area heard that they were rehoming kittens, and started calling the family when they found kittens or needed their cat rehomed. Before the Engel Family knew, they were operating a cat rescue in the basement of their home. In 2005, the rescue relocated to List Street, our current location, and have expanded from one room to a 7 roomed cat rescue. Today, Pet Angel is a non-profit 501(c)(3), no-kill shelter that specializes in socializing our animals in our mostly free-roam facility. Since opening, we have rehomed approximately 2,000 cats and kittens. All of the cats that come through Pet Angel are fixed, vaccinated, and microchipped before going to loving, forever homes and they also receive socialization, love, and care while being at our rescue. 

This year, Pet Angel has transitioned into a rescue that specializes in bonded-pairs, overlooked, and extra-need cats. We now take in, house and care for, and rehome cats who are often overlooked at other shelters because they are shy,older, bonded with another cat,  require a little extra care, or they have special behaviors that require a special home. Our goal is to be the safe haven for the cats that wouldn’t have a chance at other locations. While we are saving more special fur friends, this also requires more funds for us to be able to provide the extra care to our special friends!

We are volunteer-based, depending solely on gracious donations to operate and care for each and every cat that comes into our care. Pet Angel is licensed by the Department of Agriculture, and Michigan Pet Fund Alliance certified. We are so honored to have YOU as a part of our online auction this year!! ALL of the proceeds we raise from this auction will go straight back to the cats and kittens here at Pet Angel Adoption! By purchasing an item, you are giving a cat their next bowl of canned food, a pallet of new litter for the month, keeping the electricity on to the building, and fresh water in their bowls. You're giving a mama cat the ability to get fixed, a special needs cat the ability to have life-saving surgery or an orphaned kitten the chance at a long and happy life! So get your bidding fingers ready, you have some lives to help us save! 

Most of the items we have in our auction, we will be able to ship to you if you don't live local. But keep in mind, you will be responsible for shipping fees, and there are some items that we are unable to ship. If you are going to not be able to pick up the items you win and plan on having us ship them to you, check each item's description to make sure that it is an item that we can ship before bidding!
