The TrendTex Challenge is an annual event that takes place at the Quilt Canada Conference.  Participants purchase a 5-fabric fat quarter bundle, curated by TrendTex, produce a quilt and then donate it to the Association through a silent auction throughout the Conference. 

You now have the opportunity to own one of these beautiful pieces of art by participating in this Auction.

How the Online Auction Works

The auction will open for bidding for all pieces on Thursday, September 23, 2021 at 7:00am EST.  The opening bid for each piece is $40.  You can bid on any quilt in minimum $5 increments.  Bid on as many quilts as you like and as often as you would like.  Shipping to Canada and the United States is included in your bid price along with the HST if applicable.  5% GST will be calculated and added prior to payment.

We will close bidding on Sunday, September 26, 2021 starting at 5:00pm EST.  To allow you to have an opportunity to own more than one piece, we are closing the bidding in lots of 10 quilts starting at 5:00 and then running every 10 minutes until the last one.  There are 76 pieces in total. 

Quilts will be shipped to winning bidders starting October 2nd.
