Welcome to the Huyck Preserve's first virtual silent auction. While we can't gather in-person because of the pandemic, we hope this will be a fun way for you to support the important work we do.
The Huyck Preserve and Biological Research Station is a non-profit membership organization dedicated to education, recreation, conservation, and research. Located in Rensselaerville in the beautiful hill country southwest of Albany, N.Y., our 2,075 acres attract researchers, educators, students, and recreationists. Now more than ever, people seek nature for solace and escape.
With many of our programs canceled, and future grants and other funding sources uncertain because of the pandemic's impacts, we rely on the steadfast support of our members and donors during these uncertain times.
Thank you for your generosity, and enjoy the fun! We hope you find a treasure to brighten your day.
Don't forget our 50/50 Raffle! We are dedicating this year's raffle proceeds to the protection of the Preserve's hemlock forests against invasive hemlock woolly adelgid. If you'd like to help and have a chance to win the other 50% of the earnings, buy your raffle tickets before the end of the auction on Sunday. Get your tickets here!
