Winning bidders will be notified Friday evening, Oct 1st and can pick up their items on Saturday morning Oct. 2nd from 9 am - 11 am at Independent Bank in Lakeway.  In addition, many items can be shipped or emailed - view each item to learn more about those options.  Please note: Our volunteers very much appreciate winning bidders claiming thier auction items and race t-shirts at the designated time on Saturday, Oct. 2nd.  However, if this is not feasible they can be picked up at the fun run on Oct. 3rd.

How do I register for a vaccine?  Does this business require a mask for vaccinated individuals?  Can I get together with my friends now?  We are looking forward to the day when we can put all of the Covid restrictions behind us, and are delighted to announce that we are planning to hold our 2021 Tutus and Ties Fun Run IN PERSON this year!

AIM allows our AIMers to live "normal" lives, even during a pandemic.  Several AIMers have remained on the job throughout the pandemic working at essential, front-line businesses like grocery stores, while others were laid off or furloughed but are finding work again.  As hospitalization rates decreased and more people received their vaccines, the virtual activities that we offered earlier in the pandemic transitioned back to in-person gatherings.

Even during the challenges of 2020 and into this year, AIM has allowed our adults who have intellectual and/or developmental disabilities to experience more independence than thier families had ever thought possible.  Because of AIM, their parents get to experience the peace of mind that comes from providing thier son or daughter the right blend of support and independence.

AIM provides the following supports primarily funded by the Tutus and Ties Fun Run:

  • Transportation so that AIMers can get to work and AIM activities
  • Opportunities for ongoing learning, physical fitness, and social activities
  • Sustainability so that AIM can be their lifelong community

Your support of our auction will help us make independence possible for the adults with disabilities whom we serve!

We hope to see you at the Tutus and Ties Fun Run on October 3rd at Lakeway City Park!
