Due to COVID-19, we were unable to host our Spring Gala Event.  Instead, we're hosting our silent auction online.

The New Friends Club of Frederick (NFCF) is organized exclusively for social and charitable purposes.  You are cordially invited to attend our auction to benefit Blessings in a Backpack (BIAB), an all-volunteer charity which serves hungry children throughout Frederick County, Maryland.  The Auction opens at 10:00am on Saturday, September 19 and closes at 4:00pm on Saturday, September 26, 2020.

Did you know that over 11,000 Frederick kids are at risk of going hungry when school meals are unavailable?  Blessings in a Backpack provides backpacks of nutritious food to local children and many of those kids depend on school meals as their primary source of nutrition.  The proceeds we receive from this Auction will be used to feed our local children.   You have the opportunity to make an impact on the lives of these children, while enjoying a newly won treasure.  It's a win-win.  So please, search your heart, dig deep in your pockets, and help ensure that no child goes hungry.  You can learn more about Blessings in a Backpack at www.biabfrederickmd.org

IMPORTANT:  Click "View Items" in the left hand corner above to preview the auction items.  Select the item you wish to purchase and place a bid.  Before you bid or purchase anything, you must create a "Bidders" account.  The site will automatically request that you create a free account.  As part of this registration process, the user has the option to receive text messages or emails regarding the status of their bid(s).  We HIGHLY RECOMMEND that you select both of these options so that you know if and when you've been outbid.  You will not be asked for your credit card information unless you are the winning bidder.  You do not have to give it when you register.

All money is paid directly to New Friends Club of Frederick via our Paypal account.  No money or credit cards get touched by the auction house.  Only our Paypal account receives the money which is ultra safe and your credit card information will not be saved.

If you are not interested in bidding on an item but would still like to help feed the children, just click on the DONATE button below to make a tax-deductible donation to BIAB.  The DONATE button has a direct link to the New Friends Club of Frederick Paypal account.  All donations received by New Friends Club of Frederick will be sent in a check to Blessings in a Backpack (BIAB).

Everyone who donates or who pays ABOVE the retail value of any item will receive a tax statement directly from Blessings in a Backpack after the auction so that their expenditures can be tax credited.
