Around this time every year, we usually gear up to host the annual Furr Ball!  However, due to safety reasons, we have decided to cancel our most important fundraiser and one of Midland's highly anticipated community gathering of the year!  

Since we can't get together physically, we thought we could bring a little bit of fun safely to you.

Let's get a little bidding war going to help MHC's efforts to find homes for cats & dogs in need!

WHO DOES THIS FUNDRAISER BENEFIT?

Homeless cats & dogs, of course! 

The pandemic, coupled with the economic downturn, has resulted in an overwhelming number of abandoned and surrendered pets in Midland. With the shelter reaching full capacity, more pets are in danger of being euthanized! 

Now, more than ever, pets look to their 2-legged heroes (humans!) for help & compassion. 

We can't turn our backs on these vulnerable creatures. That's why we are working hard to make sure they find the right homes -- where they can love and be loved. 

Let's work hand-in-paw to give as many homeless pets a chance to find homes! There are many, many more pets that need help.  All proceeds from this auction will fuel our pet rescue efforts at the Adoption Center.

To put you in a bidding mood, here's a bit of good news: In 2020, in the midst of a crisis, we have rescued and found homes for 182 pets in need -- that's 70 dogs and 112 cats!  (The number grows everyday!)
