Kasi G Jump for the Cure

In support of the Dempsey Center

Due to the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic, the 2021 Kasi G Jump for the Cure was cancelled for the 2nd year in a row. We will again use the online auction to sell items that had been donated for the annual Jump.

The KGJFTC is an equestrian event begun in 2013 by Sandy Porter-Bean and Audrey Bean Bailey at Pendragon Farm in order to raise funds in support of their niece/cousin, Kasi Gajtkowski, who was battling Stage IV breast cancer. Kasi asked that the money go to the Cancer Community Center in South Portland, Maine, an organization that helps cancer patients and their families at no cost. The event has been held each year since that time in Kasi's memory and has raised more than $40,000 for the Dempsey Center. It has grown enough that it is now held at Peppergrass Farm with the full support of the owner, Debbie Place.

Funds from the Jump are typically raised by sponsorships from businesses and individuals, rider registration fees, the raffle auction, t-shirt sales and a 50/50 raffle. All proceeds now go to the Dempsey Center which merged with the Cancer Community Center. Their goal is the same, to help those impacted by cancer at no cost.

If you are unsuccessful in your bids and/or would like to donate on behalf of the Kasi G Jump for the Cure without bidding, you are welcome to use the donate button at the bottom of the page; any support is appreciated. Thank you and good luck with your bidding!
