It's the best of both worlds this year! We're having an online auction AND an in-person auction at our 2022 Benefit for the Animals on November 5th.

Our annual auction is one of our biggest fundraisers each year and brings us much needed funds to support the 120+ chickens, turkeys, ducks, geese, goats, sheep, and cows who call the Refuge home. Please share, donate, and bid as you're able. From all of us at the Refuge, we thank you for your generosity and continued support of our work! 

Online Auction:

Bidding opens at 6pm EST on Saturday, October 15th and ends at 6pm EST on Sunday, October 30th. You can view and bid on auction items by clicking here. We have over 70 items, so please make sure to look at all pages! See below for details about items with pre-bidding.

Items with pre-bidding:

A small number of items will begin with pre-bidding ONLINE but the final bidding will take place IN-PERSON at our Benefit on November 5th. We want as many people as possible to have the opportunity to bid on these special items. 

Can’t attend the in-person event but are still interested in one of these items? Not to worry! We are offering proxy bidding. You tell us your max bid and we will bid for you at the Benefit. Someone from PiedmontRefugeAuction@gmail.com will reach out to any bidders of these items once online pre-bidding closes. 

Raffles:

We have 13 raffles this year! Raffle prices vary from $3 to $5 per ticket depending on the raffle. You can save 20% when you buy 1 ticket for every basket via the "1 Ticket for all 13 Raffles" item, and save 33% when buying 3 tickets for a single raffle.

Fencing Fund-a-Need:

Our new 25-acre property expands the Refuge to a total of 45 acres, more than doubling our previous size! We are seeking support to construct a protective perimeter fence surrounding the entire new sanctuary acreage. This perimeter is necessary to keep our rescued animals safe as well as provide safety to our wild animal friends, as hunters are unfortunately currently using the property. Our goal is $17,500 in order for a generous donor to provide matching funds. 

You can contribute without any fees to us via our Chuffed.org fundraiser here or donate via the Fencing Fund-a-Need option here while you're already purchasing raffle tickets. Each $125 contributed will make it possible to build one 8 foot section of protective fencing.

2022 Benefit for the Animals:

November 5th, 2022, 6pm - 10pm

Join us for a fun and fancy night benefitting the animals of the Refuge! Held at our spacious outdoor Pavilion which borders our cow pastures. You will enjoy delicious vegan hors d'oeuvres, drinks, and s’mores at our outdoor fireplace. We will have an amazing array of items in our auction, special raffle baskets, and fun games for you to participate in. Tickets are limited so reserve yours here.
