Welcome! And thank you for coming to support nonprofit local news. The Record is a startup news nonprofit that covers the North Shore of Chicago. We officially launched on Oct. 1 and are funded almost excluslively by reader and community support. 

Local residents and businesses came through big time to load up this auction with a plethora of unique, creative and one-of-a-kind finds. So take a look around and stay awhile. The auction will last for a week, until Monday, Oct. 19. Every dollar goes toward real, nonpartisan local news.
