Exciting news: The Fundy Trail Development Authority Inc. is beginning renovations to the Hearst Lodge! 

 

Did you know that the Hearst Lodge was built in 1967?! The workmen of this project lugged in all the materials to this remote location, and they made their own cement for the foundation using gravel from the Big Salmon River. The fireplace mantle is even made from stones from the river!

 

As renos are currently taking place, we will be auctioning off a few classic pieces of the furniture from the Lodge as we make room for the new. If you’d like to have your piece of Hearst Lodge history, now's your chance!
