In a matter of 5 short years, Charisse's taxes, along with others' in her neighboring community has increased over a whopping 216 percent. These illegal property tax assessments  have led to an epidemic of widespread and unjust foreclosures, exploiting communities across America.

 

This issue has been affecting the Black community for decades and it is now becoming a massive problem for Americans from various backgrounds who are sadly losing their homes at an alarming rate.

 

Charisse has stepped up to honorably serve her country and now we are asking you to step up for her. The stakes are high, but our hopes are even higher. Together with your help, we can demonstrate the power of community and prevent one of our country's veterans from becoming homeless.

 

Charisse's international community has come together to donate some top-tier items and services to support the fundraising effort. Nearly all auction items are available to supporters around the world, with the exception of a few physical items. We are grateful for all your support!
