This year, due to Covid-19, the event itself will be a little bit different. The baskets will be live online from 5pm November 25th-5pm December 5th, giving folks 10 days to bid. At 7pm on December 5th we will be ending with a live-streamed auction and winners announcement on our facebook page that anyone can participate in from the comfort of their home! https://www.facebook.com/thebusstoptheatre

 

Our annual basket auction was created to celebrate our amazing membership (now member-owners!!), and as a fundraiser for the Bus Stop Theatre Co-op. This year, all funds raised will be going towards our two new pilot programs: the Reconciliation & Reparations Fund and the Sign Language Interpretation Subsidy! The Bus Stop Theatre Co-op is setting up two separate funds to make the rental of our theatre more accessible to Indigenous peoples and to people of African descent, and also to help support the hiring of sign language interpreters during events hosted at the Bus Stop. We are so excited to launch both of these funds with this year’s auction!
