It’s no secret that it’s been a hard year on all of us, and our youth ministry was no exception to that. A lot of our big community fundraisers had to be put on hold, as did our annual summer trips, and even Urban Plunge, one of the biggest service opportunities available to us through the Diocese, and they have all been sorely missed. We were fortunate to take a small group out to some of the smaller Diocesan Faith and Action Service Days this year, doing everything from yard work, to re-sideing a house out in Interlachen, and it was absolutely incredible seeing the youth experience Christ in that way. We want to provide more opportunities like these for our youth, but in order to do that, we need to boost our fundraising efforts. Our approach to that needed to be different this year though, given current guidelines, so we are kicking things off with this online auction fundraiser. We will have items posted to our biddingowl site from Sunday, January 24^th through January 30^th.
