Welcome to Emmett Kyoshi's 'LOVE' meets Compassion.  All proceeds from this event will be donated to Northfield Food Pantry, as well as, New Trier Township food pantry, where the goal is to help end hunger.  The need for food and supplies are at historic highs and food bank inventories are at all-time lows. We need to work together and help one another.

2020 and 2021 has pushed our creativity but we won't allow adversity to get in our way! We have paired up with @Properties to create a food drive and auction to help those who are in need. Emmett said last month that he want to help feed children. For that reason, Emmett created a one a kind art piece ‘LOVE’ collaborated with “You Are Beautiful” artist, Matthew Hoffman, which will be sold to the highest bidder.  Carved out and hand painted with acrylic and charcoal this 41"x 22"  original is signed and dated.

The Northfield Food Pantry states. “As our community continues to respond to the COVID-19 pandemic and many public closures, we’ve had a tremendous outpouring of offers of support.  We ask for financial donations that will be used to provide additional resources and food to our clients.” In 2003 the pantry became a 501c3 organization and an agency to the Greater Chicago Food Depository. Today many Hundreds of Township families are eligible to visit the pantry to receive perishable and non-perishable  food items and grocery store cards. The New Trier Township Food Pantry states, “Despite an improving economy and lower unemployment rates, many of our clients are working several part-time jobs, or are now underemployed after the Great Recession. Your township food pantry presently serves the needs of over 100 households per month, representing about 250 persons. The supplemental groceries and personal care items our clients receive are making a tremendous difference in their lives, while strengthening the communities we serve.”

Emmett was inspired to help and his way of giving back is through his extraordinary talent as a painter. Every cent from this auction will be personally delivered by Emmett to the pantries. We're confident that this auction will help raise awareness and bring some relief to all those in great need.
