The 14th annual KGF Tee Time Auction benefits the programs of the KGF, including  the Kansas Junior Golf Scholarship (KJGS) and the NEW Kansas Junior Golf Grant and KS Junior Golf Hub.

The Kansas Junior Golf Scholarship (KJGS) is awarded to five KS high school seniors each year. The scholarship supports students who have participated in local junior golf programs like The First Tee, Central Links Golf events, and high school golf teams. Each junior golfer who qualifies academically and financially receives the scholarship for all 4-years of college totalling $10,000. With the continued rise in tuition costs, these scholarships are critical to their future.

In addition to assisting individual golfers, we aim to support communities. Many parts of Kansas are still underserved or underfunded, limiting opportunities for kids 18 years and younger to learn the game of golf. In fact, several KJGS Scholars started the girl’s golf team at their respective high schools because one did not exist prior. The Kansas Junior Golf Grant awards up to $5,000 to organizations in Kansas that are growing junior golf – either developing new programs or growing established programs. The 2022 recipient(s) of the first KS Junior Golf Grant were Kaw Valley Junior Golf Foundation and Sunflower Hills Golf Course.

The Kansas Junior Golf Hub will be the first search engine for junior golf programs in Kansas. Find golf camps, clinics, leagues, and lessons for kids ages 3-18 all in one place! Coming soon.

This year's Tee Time Auction lineup features tee times at outstanding golf courses in Kansas, like Hallbrook Country Club, Crestview Country Club, and Salina Country Club, as well as, some unique opportunities.

About the Kansas Golf Foundation

Kansas Golf Foundation was formed in 1991 to “Promote the Future and Preserve the History of Golf in Kansas.” Proceeds from this auction will be used to support its programs.
