Welcomes You to its 2021 Online Auction Webpage!
WERU is holding this Online Auction to raise funds to support its programs and operations in 2021, and we're so glad that you've chosen to be a part of this virtual event!
Many fantastic items have been donated by local and statewide businesses, artists, and friends of WERU, so please check out the items and feel free to bid on as many as you'd like to! Auction bidding kicks off at 12 pm (noon) on Saturday, June 19th, 2021, and bidding will remain open until 8 pm on Friday, June 25th. Everything you will need in order to participate in the Online Auction is accessible right off this webpage, but if you have any questions, please contact us at email@example.com.
A heartfelt thank-you goes out to our Auction Committee members, Pat Pugh, Starr Gilmartin, Nancy Minott, Stacy Otto, Susan Pierce, and Mark Tipton for their dedicated work in finding items and putting this all together!
A NOTE ON THE PROCESS: To explore the items in WERU's online auction, simply click on the green "View Items" dropdown menu in the upper lefthand corner of this screen. You may search for items in a specific category or simply scroll to "All Items," where everything will show up, (please keep in mind that there are multiple pages worth of items!). When you click on an individual item you will be able to see a photo and description, as well as the Fair Market Value (FMV), Opening Bid, and the Minimum Bid Increment for that specific item. There is also a count-down clock that lets you know how much time remains for you to bid on that item.
Once bids open at 12 pm on June 19th, you can start bidding, and you will be led through a sign-in process. At this point, you can opt-in to email and/or text message alerts that let you know if one (or several) of your items have been "out-bid." You may then return to this webpage to bid again as many times as you'd like to, all the way up until June 25th at 8pm EST! Following the auction, we will contact you to arrange item pick-up or shipment (depending on the item), or to help you to coordinate with the donor (if applicable). Thanks again for participating!
Thank you for your support!
