VIEW ITEMS: The auction will run from April 21 to May 6 at 10pm. View items by clicking the green View Items drop down box above. Click an item to see details. If an item’s retail value is listed as “priceless” it may be an item of exceptional value or an item for which we just couldn’t determine what the retail value might be. In either case, be sure to click on the item to get to the description page where you will see the minimum bid or increment amount.

PLACE A BID: Bidding will require you to register for a BiddingOwl account (above on the right) or log in if you already have one. Bidders must be at least 18 years old. You may choose to be notified when someone outbids you, encouraging friendly competition for a good cause. Winning bids are final - no returns or refunds.

PAYMENT: When the auction closes, you will receive an email with an invoice for items you have won. Payment must be received within 48 hours of the auction closing time, otherwise the item will go to the next highest bidder. The invoice will include instructions for paying with a credit card or a PayPal account. Please contact AAS_Auction@appalachianaudubon.org. if you have a problem with online payment.

PICK UP  ITEMS: Please note that we are NOT able to ship any items. Successful bidders will pick up their items at Appalachian Audubon’s Annual Celebration, on May 21, 1-3 pm at the Fernlawn Pavilion in Lower Allen Community Park, 4075 Lisburn Road, Mechanicsburg, PA 17055. If you can’t attend, you may make other arrangements with auction volunteers for pick up in the Harrisburg (Jane Webster - willjaneweb@yahoo.com) or West Shore (Susan Miller - millerscorner@msn.com) area.

WHAT THE AUCTION SUPPORTS: All proceeds from the auction support the chapter’s scholarships for youth to attend environmental and natural history camps. These scholarships enable many local young people to experience exciting and life-shaping educational opportunities. Scholarship money supports day camps at Wildwood Park and Ned Smith Center and residential camps at PA Wildlife Leadership Academy and Audubon's Bird Studies Camp on the coast of Maine.
