End Domestic Abuse Wisconsin’s Soar Above Gala honors the strength, courage, and determination of survivors while raising funds to support critical, often lifesaving, programs.
This year’s theme is self-care, as we make space to reflect on the realities of domestic violence, the harsh impact of the pandemic on survivors over the last 18 months, the continued evolution of our movement, and the courage to heal and embrace the joy we collectively need as a community of survivors and allies in the anti-violence movement.
The heart of our work is supporting survivors - be it expanded domestic abuse prevention programming, systems change for heightened protections for survivors, increased awareness, and education to support victims’ services agencies. People rely on our programs and services every single day. We rely on you to keep them going.
Browse through our auction and find an item that speaks to you and your unique self-care. Our auction items include artisanal pieces, local businesses' gifts, and priceless experiences.
Thank you in advance for your support and we hope to see you at the Soar Above at Home online event on Wednesday, September 28, 2021 - featuring U.S. Congresswoman Gwen Moore, Spoken Word Artist Selena Deer, Performer and Survivor Silk, Madison Poet Laureate Angie Trudell Vasquez, and multiple rounds of Drag Queen Bingo (bit.ly/SoarAbove21)
