Thank you for visiting! Our 2023 auction will run November 6-11. The proceeds will be used for the medical care, both routine and emergency, that our animals require.

The Southeast Kansas Humane Society is a no-kill, non-profit 501(c)3 animal shelter that rescues homeless and endangered pets in and near Crawford County, Kansas. Its mission is to eliminate animal suffering, promote the importance of the human-animal bond, educate individuals regarding pet responsibility and respect, and reduce pet overpopulation by ensuring every animal in our care is spayed or neutered.

We also own and operate The Doggie Bag, a resale shop at 514 N Broadway in downtown Pittsburg, KS. Proceeds from all sales support the shelter. Current store hours are 11AM-6PM Tuesday-Saturday.
