Our Wild Neighbors (OWN) is a 501 (c) 3 nonprofit organization dedicated to the rehabilitation and release of injured and orphaned wildlife. OWN also provides educational opportunities to promote wildlife preservation and habitat sustainability. Located in Hillsborough, North Carolina, our center serves the piedmont, eastern carolina and beyond. In 2021 we have admitted over 1400 patients representing multiple species of mammals, reptiles, and birds. Our Wild Neighbors was formed by volunteer licensed wildlife rehabilitators and is staffed primarily by volunteers. The funds of this organization come solely from private donations. 

Wild for the Holidays is our first holiday fundraiser. Shop for unique gifts for yourself or your loved ones while being able to support a great cause at the same time. All proceeds go into caring for our rehabilitated animals in our facility. These animals require safe, happy enclosures, lots of food, and often veterinary attention. Over the winter we will have a handful of mammals, reptiles, and birds that will stay with us all winter long until it's safe for them in the spring. 

All of our items will be picked up by you the bidder. Due to concerns with shipping this season, all bidders will be able to pick up their item here at Our Wild Neighbors facility (maybe you'll get to meet Timmy our ambassador!).
