Kachemak Bay Shorebird Festival Fundraiser

The Kachemak Bay Shorebird Festival is Alaska’s largest wildlife viewing festival. It honors the return of spring and the breathtaking migration of shorebirds through Kachemak Bay.

Do you enjoy Avian Art and the Kachemak Bay Shorebird Festival?

The auction will include the ORIGINAL lively art pencil drawing by Festival Artist, Stacy Studebaker, a hand-carved Bar-tailed Godwit by Contemporary Artist David Personius in memory of a beloved, long-time volunteer Betty Siegel, and painted 6x6 inch canvases ready to hang, by local artists of ALL ages, depicting Alaskan birds of ALL kinds.

The Auction also includes some wonderful Brome Bird Feeders, Birder 'Self-Care' & FUN Items; services and wares generously donated by local businesses. 

All items can be seen online and will be auctioned online. Art will be availabe to view in the sun-filed gallery, Northern Vibes Alaskan Artisans (4025 Homer Spit Rd)  May 2 - May 7, 12-4pm daily, except First Friday, 5/6, open until 6pm.

The minimum bid for each item will be stated. 

Bidding opens on APRIL 18, 2022.

Bidding will close on Sunday May 8, 2021 at 12:00pm AKDT.  Winning Bidders will be notified and advised where thy can pick up their items that afternoon or they will be mailed.

All proceeds will benefit the Kachemak Bay Shorebird Festival, ensuring world-class programming and education, year to year.
