Kachemak Bay Shorebird Festival Fundraiser ensures top-notch programs, speakers, and the ongoing legacy of the Festival.

The Kachemak Bay Shorebird Festival is Alaska’s largest wildlife viewing festival. It honors the return of spring and the breathtaking migration of shorebirds through Kachemak Bay.

Do you enjoy Avian Art and the Kachemak Bay Shorebird Festival?

The auction will include the ORIGINAL lively artwork by 2023 Festival Artist, Mattie Squire, a hand-built Sandhill Crane, and painted 6x6 inch canvases ready to hang, by local artists of ALL ages and abilities, depicting Alaskan (& a few other locations) birds of ALL kinds.

The Auction also includes some wonderful Brome Bird Feeders, Birder 'Self-Care' & FUN Items; services and wares generously donated by local businesses. Artists of ALL ages and abilities responded in our community art call! Birding and Art are a great way to connect to Nature for everybody and every body!

All items can be seen online and will be auctioned online. Art will be availabe to view in the cozy gallery, 59North Creations (1554 Homer Spit Rd)  April 30 - May 7, 12-4pm daily, except First Friday, 5/5, open until 6pm.

The minimum bid for each item will be stated. 

Bidding opens on APRIL 22, 2022

Bidding will close on Sunday May 7, 2021 at 12:00pm AKDT.  Winning Bidders will be notified and advised where thy can pick up their items that afternoon or they will be mailed.

All proceeds will benefit the Kachemak Bay Shorebird Festival, ensuring world-class programming and education, year to year.
