Sierra Nevada Geotourism celebrates the Sierra Nevada as a world-class destination while simultaneously supporting broader efforts to improve the health, wealth and environmental quality of the region. With almost 2000 Geotourism destinations currently on the WebMap, the project connects local Sierra businesses and communities to an audience of travelers passionate about taking the “road less traveled”. All destinations are nominated by those who know the Sierra best, its local residents, and all proceeds from this auction will help to support the project.
