Your support is invaluable as it allows CACTUS PEAR to channel its resources into the full-scholarship Young Artists Program (YAP).

The YAP program provides an intensive, enriched learning and performing experience for EIGHT advanced viola, cello, violin, flute and piano students, chosen by audition. The Young Artists Fellowship Program runs concurrently with the Cactus Pear season, pairing these outstanding young music students with the professional festival artists, who teach, coach, and mentored them to improve their musical skills. The young artists prepare a program of their own, which they perform at a variety free community concerts. It is always inspiring for a youngster to see someone his or her own age performing music at the level of a professional.
