We lost a great friend named Tim Chicoine on the river this year.

On behalf of Iowa Rivers Revival, we want to thank Tim's family and friends for creating a memorial fund to honor his memory.  We are so grateful to be on the receiving end of these funds and can't wait to see someone on the river in this donated Current Designs Solar 120 recreational kayak!

Our hearts go out to Tim's family and friends, who we had the pleasure of meeting and spending some time with at the 2019 Paddlesport Expo.  It is truly a privilege to partner with our friends at CanoeSport Outfitters and the Iowa paddling community, to establish a lasting and impactful way to honor Tim's legacy with these funds. 

Tim was an ACA Level 2 Coastal Kayak instructor and assisted with many classes and tours.  He paddled Yellowstone Lake, Lake Superior, Glacier Bay, the Mississippi and Missouri Rivers, and paddled most rivers in Central Iowa and Western Montana.
