The Breaking Frames project connects the students of Baltimore to artists from across North America.

Each students filled out a writing promt and got matched up with an artist. Each student will receive a print of the artwork that they inspired and all original artworks will be auctioned off.  All proceeds will benefit student enrichment programs.

The students wrote about the ways that they are challenging stereotypes and breaking down the narrow frames through which society views them as black youth in Baltimore.

This project gave students an outlet to have their voices be heard, but also as a way for people from far reaching places to come together and share their experiences and art.
