Wallace Detroit Guitars recognizes that Detroit and Michigan have always been about making iconic music and crafting things with inspiration.  It this spirit, they have created the Pure Michigan Guitar using reclaimed wood from the historic Packard Automotive Plant and featuring a hand-etched copper pickguard. This custom and one-of-a-kind instrument is a testament to the proud tradition of making good things and great music in Michigan.

This summer, make music that comes with a great, Michigan-inspired story – bid now! The highest bid as of 12 noon on Wednesday, May 25th will be the winner and announced at the Pure Michigan Live event on Mackinac Island.  

All proceeds from the auction support Michigan Cares for Tourism, a 100% volunteer and give-back nonprofit that reclaims Michigan’s history through the preservation of historic sites and promotes sustainability in Michigan’s tourism industry.
