Stefani Mar is an artist, designer, and gardener who has worked & lived on the LES since the 80s. She created 2 large scale public art pieces on the LES, "Urban Rubble Garden" on E. 1st St. & "Orientation" in East River Park in collaboration w/Shirin Neshat. and has shown in numerous alternative art spaces. Her costume designs have been seen on stages nationally & internationally. She gardens at El Sol Brilliante Jr Garden on E 12th St between Ave A & B.
