This piece was created on April 28, 2018 at the Chalk Art Festival, Tempe Marketplace.

I created a mural using the famous Edward Weston photo of Frida Kahlo, reimagined as a Sonoran jackrabbit. Frida Kahlo's importance as an artist in our border culture is hard to overestimate. This is a large scale recreation of this image for public display.
